I recently read Firefly Blue by Jake Thoene, an author cited as "the Christian Tom Clancy." The gist of the story: a high-profile government agency investigates stolen barrels of cyanide and investigates further to find a terrorist plot to attack the U. S. The book centers around Steve Alstead, a member of the Hostage Rescue Team, but jumps between several different characters. Some of the characters seem irrelevant at first but the story comes together more and more as it progresses.

This is a great book if you like fast-paced action with lots of suspense by a Christian author.
